About Me

Professional Artist Liz Garstang, Lancashire

Hi, I'm Liz — a professional artist based in Garstang, Lancashire, with a passion for colour, creativity, and sharing the joy of making.

In 2023, 2024, and 2025 I was proud to take part in the Paint Garstangcommunity art event, painting outdoors in Garstang town — featured in the local press in 2023.

I've been a working artist since 1996, and my practice spans watercolour painting, printmaking, Gelli plate printing, lino printing, and mixed media — with a specialist background in textiles and design.

My formal training includes a BA Hons in Art & Design (Textiles) and an HND in Art & Design (Textiles), giving me a strong foundation that I bring to everything I create and teach.

For over 12 years I've been teaching watercolour painting, and for the past four years I've also been running printmaking workshops — welcoming both adults and children into my studio here in Garstang.

Whether you're a complete beginner or a returning student, my workshops are relaxed, friendly, and designed to help you discover your creative confidence.
